Final Home for Canada 150 Project

"Along the LaHave..." has a permanet home at the local library

Earlier this year, we had a Canada 150 project that used our Facebook Page to display photographs from along the LaHave River between Bridgewater and New Germany from 1867 to 2017.

The response was overwhelming.

Many, mnny thanks to all the contributors, participants and partners.

We took much of the material from the weekly Facebook posts including visitor comments and rolled in up into a single document which is now online.

Our Canada 150 Project

Along the LaHave River from Bridgewater to New Germany 1867 - 2017 is our Canada 150 project.

Using  Instagram and Facebook, we show historical and current photos and encourage readers to submit their stories ... sort of a people's history.

A bit fuzzy on the details? Not to worry ... we're more interested in your story.

Over 8 weeks, we'll cover topics including The River, Trains & the Railroad, Oxen and Disasters.
